MERCURE Krynica Zdrój Resort & SPA pays special attention to environment protection issues. Limiting energy losses, we introduced materials that lower heat permeability of the building. Moreover, we have used available technologies of renewable energy sources – we installed solar thermal collectors which heat the system of hot water and an ecological heating system effectively using RES (Renewable Energy Sources). The system uses modern solar collectors, heat pumps allowing to regain thermal energy and heat exchangers. MERCURE Krynica Zdrój Resort & SPA segregates 100% of its waste. We purchased specialist pressing machines which decrase the waste volume and reduce the price of its disposal. Our “green policy” dedicated to hotel guests encourages them to reuse towels and bedsheets.
Following the earlier activities, the company developed uniform standards of cooperation with its partners, which enables us to conduct business activities and positively influence the environment. With reference to ecological activities, we created and implemented appropriate planning of accounts, recording thus all environment protection costs in appropriate sections of kinds of expenses.
